Business Analysis Vs Agile Business Analysis

What does Agile mean ?
Agile simply means Quick.
Agile approaches are adopted in big organization to handle the projects more effective and in a light weight manner. This helps the project success in long run. Agile approaches from its counterpart, the common business analysis are bit more practical in nature. Agile analysis would rather be called as an collaborative approach as it prefer an active participation of all the team members than reading a 500 page requirement document. Engaging agile approaches also helps the analyst in understanding the stakeholders need at different stages of requirement elicitation. Thus helping to create user-centered design that will improve business performance and develop the discipline to sustain gains. Another reason for adopting the agile approach over traditional analysis is the focus on quality. It keeps on meeting every requirement at its best. This is possible as it uses an iterative approach to model projects. It communicates, test and re-iterates until it deliver quality result. We can generalize project coming out of agile environment are best fit for the situation where it is meant to run.
